Short Story Preparation

For the past two weeks we have spent a considerable amount of time getting used to the idea of writing creatively.

As you work towards the creation of your short story, make sure that you take the time to practise your writing and to plan effectively. There are a wide variety of resources available to you on Blackboard that you should aim to utilise.

The creative writing tasks that we have been doing in class (like the speed writing at the beginning of lessons) can be incredibly helpful when you get writer's block so make sure you add these to your writer's tool belt!

You are all showing a lot of potential throughout the exercises we have been doing in class girls so make sure that you have faith in your own abilities as we move towards the next task.
